Shuttle Looms
Pickwell Shuttle Looms are made from the special graded Spheroidal Graphite Cast Iron also known as SGI. The machine was developed taking special consideration of weaver’s problems regarding the machines.
The Embry roll is attached to the side walls with the help of bearings to prevent formation of rust and thus provide free movement to the machine. Many parts are heat treated and quoted with zinc to remove the stress in individual components which helps to improve life expectancy and provide hardness.
